We’re not your typical bakery — and we like it that way.
The Salty German was born out of one baker’s obsession with real, honest pretzels. Not the dry, over-processed kind. We’re talking about the deep brown, hand-twisted, salt-speckled beauties you’d find on a Bavarian street corner — crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, and just the right amount of salty.
After moving to London and realizing the city was seriously lacking in proper pretzel power, we decided to do something about it. So we fired up the oven, rolled up our sleeves, and started baking with traditional recipes, quality ingredients, and a whole lot of attitude.
Now, we’re serving up a little taste of Germany with a London twist. Whether you're here for a classic pretzel, a sweet treat, or just the salty banter — welcome to the family
